Choreography for the Ballet de l'Opéra de Paris, with the Étoiles dancers Aurélie Dupont, Nicolas Le Riche and Jérémie Bélingard.

Darkness is where life hides.
In the deep darkness beyond the darkness, hides a horse with shining black eyes. In the darkness, there is always one, or three, or a hundred black horses hiding, holding its breath and looking out.
White life, appearing and disappearing.
The fluid is a transforming life.
It has no self, no past nor memory, no preparation for the time yet to come. It is just a plasma, a minute vibration before birth.
A floating semi-transparent fluid.
A little more time is necessary before this thing can be called a life.
The first breath of the white life inflates the black darkness.
White life expands and contracts in all direction, vibrating the black and heavy darkness. The vibrant unrestrained stream seems to touch all.
The stagnating black horse of the darkness swallows the life’s stream, and transforms. The swallowed white life also transforms.
A sudden severeness becomes an uncontrollable pure movement, as if to destroy life. Darkness and life contact, melt, and penetrate each other, desiring each other with such intensity that could possibly destroy them both.
A cosmic crystal of eternity and moment.
An ever-flowing fluid crystal.
The next moment, the crystal separates, melts and fuses again, melts and separates, and melts, and fuses, and thus repeats itself.
White life keeps floating as a stream.
Darkness covers the world as darkness.
